The Personal Story:

 

I’m a 49-year-old mom, bookworm, and pop-culture fanatic who writes UX financial content by day to fund my book/Broadway obsessions—and to pay for health insurance for my family. When I'm not working, I'm reading 100 books a year; writing about books, things that interest me, history, and life; watching the Philadelphia Phillies with my family; traveling to NYC; or dragging my family to museums and book signings. 

 

As I live out my 49th year, I'm revamping this blog to focus on my #50ThingsToDoBefore50. As I post updates on my progress, feel free to share your thoughts, ideas, and reactions with me. But, please, no hate. I'm excited to both gush about what we agree on and cordially debate what we don't. Life’s too short for name calling, needless arguing, trolling, and a 4th Bridget Jones' movie (seriously?!). Thanks for being here!
