Happy National Grammar Day, book friends! Below is a fun article on the "history" of grammar. Everyone has their grammar pet peeves. "Its" vs. "It's." "You're" vs. "Your." When to use a hyphen. Or, if you're an over-hyphenator like me, you use them WAY TOO MUCH. Bottom line, the ability of the reader to understand what you're writing drives most grammatical decisions. And, always ALWAYS use the Oxford comma. The lack of it helped win a court case (article below). Enjoy this special day!
